Choosing a sunscreen for your child
Mineral formulas: zinc oxide or titanium dioxide sunscreens such as Aveeno Baby SPF 50, Aveeno Kids Continuous Protection and Neutrogena Sheer Zinc Kids are often preferred for sensitive skin.SPF 30 to 50: look for broad spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB.Age: for babies under 6 months, shade and clothing are the first protection; ask your doctor before using sunscreen. How to apply
Apply generously 15 minutes before going outside and reapply every two hours, and after swimming or sweating.
